Bio:
Ron grew up in Farmingdale (Long Island) and Burlingham, New York. He graduated from Pine Bush High school in June 1974 and immediately enlisted in the U.S. Navy. During his 22 year Navy career he served on two submarines, a submarine tender, and commissioning crew on an Aegis Cruiser. He also served four years as a technical instructor, and three years assigned to NATO Southern Forces, Naples, Italy.
Ron earned his B.S. Marketing degree through New York Regents College in January 1995. He retired from active duty in April 1996 and settled in Gautier, Mississippi. Over the next ten years he worked for several companies in software development and Integrated Logistics Support analysis. Ron married Ms. Wei Fang Li in Yulin, China, in October 2003. After Winnie's arrival in the United States they relocated to Northern Virginia.
Ron loves to travel and to date has visited 40 states in the United States, and 30 foreign countries which included an around-the-world sea-air trip. He continues to work as an Integrated Logistics Support analysis in the Northern Virginia area. In his spare time he enjoys boating, photography, shop work, Internet website development, writing, and traveling.

Armand passed on in February 2004. For the last several years he was with us he wrote many stories including family memoirs, travelogues, and fictional book ideas he attempted to have published. Many of his stories are published here for the first time.
