Several years before he passed on, Armand wrote a 30+ page memoirs. His memoirs briefly related some history of his parents, growing up in Rhode Island during the depression, and then a detailed account as a machine-gunner island hopping in the south pacific and Japan during World War II. It is too lengthy to repost here, but is posted in the Feature Stories section of the Charest Family website in three parts.
